My Thoughts
As someone coming from the hacking side, I’ve always looked at APIs as targets ways in things to exploit. But learning about API product management made me see them in a new way. When you start thinking about APIs like a product, you get a better sense of why they’re built the way they are how users interact with them and where things might break down from both a usability and security angle. It’s helped me sharpen my approach and knwoledge behind the API and hopefully helps me spot the weak spots more effectively 🙂 Definitely a useful shift in perspective.
